The little market in Coulon and the larger one in Noirt were a pleasure to browse, with local produce taking center stage. We also loved canoeing through the Marais Poitevin and walking around this waterside landscape. At Mémé Lisette's, the owners welcomed us so warmly and shared helpful tips about places to see, regional food, and local history. The cottage has a small sheltered garden where you can eat outside. I have lovely memories of our stay, and would recommend this peaceful spot for a relaxing holiday. FS
