We spent several days simply unwinding by the pool during a fantastic week at Petit Paradis. The house is beautiful and really well equipped. It’s peaceful and unspoilt around there, with plenty to explore nearby: Niort is an interesting town, and La Rochelle and Ile de Re are a little over an hour away. Christiane and Philippe were lovely hosts and took time to tell us about the region. We’d recommend it.

The gîte had everything our family of five needed, and both the adults and kids made good use of the pool and hot tub. We had a wonderful stay, thanks to the lovely setting, welcoming hosts, and high-quality accommodation. We hope we can come back.

We loved the donkeys and chickens around the grounds, and the owners were so helpful and nice. It was extremely hot when our family of four, two adults and two teenagers, stayed in August, so we were in the pool and spa constantly.

The pool had to be missed because of the weather, but the spa made up for it. The cottage is set in a beautiful, peaceful spot, and the owners are very welcoming, discreet, and attentive, with great sightseeing advice. Inside, it’s tastefully decorated, with spacious, comfortable bedrooms and other rooms. The kitchen has all the dishes and utensils you could need. Our beds were made when we arrived, and the bath towels and bathrobes are high quality. We had a wonderful week with our family and will definitely return. You can book with your eyes closed!
