We came in February, 2026, and even with the hotel fully booked, it never felt busy. The mood stayed intimate, private, and peaceful. We thought this was the best hotel in Courchevel, with an elegant, understated design and a calm, beautiful atmosphere. Our room faced the lift, which has been noisy for us in other hotels, but here it was almost completely silent. We heard a child in the corridor briefly once, and nothing else. The sound insulation was remarkable. The humidifier was another thoughtful detail, and at this altitude it made the room much more comfortable. Without it, our stay would have been less pleasant. The team made the experience especially memorable. Everyone, from the restaurant and ski room to the spa, was warm and professional. The concierge team was outstanding: they arranged difficult restaurant bookings and handled requests efficiently and gracefully. When our son had a minor health problem, they organized a doctor, who arrived in about 30 minutes. Even though the hotel was full, their care made us feel like the only guests there. They remembered our names, greeted us warmly, and treated our needs with real attention. We also appreciated the early check-in they arranged. Dining was a pleasure. The half-board plan meant a genuinely premium experience at some of Courchevel's best restaurants, not just a token meal deal, and Nama, the in-house restaurant, was excellent. Breakfast was among the best in Courchevel, with plenty of delicious, varied, healthy choices. The quality was excellent, and the team would prepare dishes even when they weren't on the menu. The included minibar was a nice touch too. Housekeeping was flawless, with the cleanest room we've ever stayed in. The bathroom and tub were immaculate, and they even serviced the room on our departure day. Each night brought a carefully chosen gift, useful and high quality rather than a generic souvenir. The spa was one of Courchevel's best. Even at full occupancy it never felt crowded. The sauna was spacious and beautifully designed, the hammam generous, and the Japanese sauna a special feature. The pool area felt serene and elegant. We loved the location directly on the Bellecôte slope, just moments from 1850, and our room had beautiful piste views. The breakfasts, service, setting, and personal touches all came together into a refined and peaceful stay that was flawlessly handled.

The concierge was outstanding, the restaurant hostesses were welcoming, and the daily gifts were thoughtful. We even received a personalized postcard at checkout that reflected our preferences. Breakfast was à la carte with a good range of choices, though I'd have preferred fresh salmon instead of only smoked. The spa and gym were spacious, clean, and well maintained. The rest of the experience was excellent. I'm a longtime Aman guest and usually choose the group whenever I can, since their hospitality is normally exceptional. The service and atmosphere here lived up to that, but the room design and housekeeping fell short of the price. At over €4,000 a night, the layout was disappointing. It wasn't a small room, but it was arranged badly: the entrance opened straight into the sleeping area, the second room felt unnecessary, the sofa corner was cold because of the mirrors, and the bathroom was so small only one person could use it comfortably. Cleaning was inconsistent, with details often missed. A few times staff came into the room late in the evening even though we hadn't been there all day.

What stayed with me most was the feeling of being welcomed home. The staff's warmth felt natural, like family greeting us, rather than a commercial performance. Aman Le Melezin gave me a new sense of what Aman means: privacy, calm, and a subtle kind of luxury. Even in a world that feels increasingly commercial, I felt removed from everyday bustle. The pool and spa were understated and relaxing. The hotel sits right above the Bellecôte slopes in Courchevel 1850, with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Les Trois Vallées. At the time I booked, only the Family Suite was available, and it was wonderful. Both bedrooms looked toward the slopes; opening the window brought in the cold mountain air and views of skiers coming down. The hotel also has connections with places like Le Chalet de Pierres. I can't think of a better place to spend time in Courchevel. Before arrival, the team helped plan our days in detail, from ski and lift arrangements to lunch beside the slopes, a mountain club, and evenings with fondue, local dishes, or Japanese food. Our schedule changed quite a bit because of my child's jet lag and my wife's poor health, and I felt bad about the changes. The staff adapted flexibly, which I really appreciated. At the ski lodge there were always at least three staff members, so there was no waiting when setting off or coming back, and they offered plenty of knowledgeable help. At breakfast I could order as much as I wanted from the menu, with adjustments to suit my preferences. There was lots to do beyond skiing: an underground wellness area, Japanese-style dining, a cigar room, and two restaurants for meals or cocktails with a view. The kids' room was better than expected, and kind nannies looked after children who weren't skiing. Spa treatments and the quiet atmosphere were a lovely way to relax after a day on the slopes. This was an all-around wonderful stay and a chance to understand Aman's character more deeply. I'm already looking forward to coming back, and would recommend it to families or anyone after a luxury ski holiday.

We went for a special occasion, and the hotel took such good care of us. I especially loved the half-board, there were so many choices! 🤌🏻 Love itttt!

⭐ One star just for the lobby café service. We were greeted by the receptionist and offered a choice of seats, even though plenty of tables were empty. Then Mr. Ohalim suddenly stopped us and said the tables were only for hotel guests. The abrupt change felt rude and unprofessional. I've been to Aman Megève and expected a much higher standard of hospitality. This café service didn't come close.
