Hôtel Le Strato

The staff took care of so much, from unloading our car and bringing bags to the room to arranging reservations and driving us into town whenever we wanted. They even met us after dinner with our jackets and drove us back. Book restaurants ahead during high season, since some places we wanted were already full. The ski room was excellent too: they handled our equipment and passes, and greeted us with warm crepes after skiing. Every restaurant dish we tried was great, and they kindly made an off-menu dish for my husband that tasted wonderful. Breakfast choices were limited, but everything available was delicious. Order from the menu too, the French toast was the best I've ever had. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable, with everything we needed and a spacious closet that was useful for all our ski gear.

Clean, nicely designed rooms and a good restaurant were the positives, though more dining choices would improve things. As a regular skier who visits Courchevel and knows top-tier hotels like K2 Palace, Hôtel Barrière, and Cheval Blanc, I felt my recent stay at Hotel le strato fell short of Courchevel's standards. The bathrooms need work, the gym is small with limited equipment, and the spa was inefficient. The ski room was crowded and awkwardly placed on a blue slope, which isn't ideal for children or beginners. The concierge team was understaffed, so service was slow and ineffective, and some staff were rude. The GM showed little customer focus or problem-solving, dismissing requests without trying. SLH member benefits weren't honored despite several follow-ups. I sent multiple emails, but nothing changed, and it doesn't seem likely to. For 30000€ for two suites for a week, I expected much better service. I hope management takes this seriously to meet the level of other luxury hotels in Courchevel and retain customers.

The team made this holiday special, and the service went beyond what I expected. The ski-in/ski-out slope is easy to reach and really convenient. I hope to return soon. Thanks to everyone ❤️

The staff were such a bright spot, friendly and smiling, and always willing to help. We loved how cozy the place felt and how easy it was to get to the slopes. My one gripe is the bar lunch menu: the dishes feel a bit overworked, and I’d prefer simpler food. We had a great stay and will definitely be back soon.
