Hôtel Le K2 Altitude

I wasn't staying overnight, but my brief visit to Hotel K2 left a great impression. The staff were warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, and the hotel kindly let us use its shuttle service, which was much appreciated. The barman deserves a special mention. He was attentive and knew how to make the perfect drink, which made our time in the cigar lounge memorable. I'm already looking forward to returning to the area and will definitely stay at Hotel K2 next time. Its hospitality won me over. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, accommodating hotel.

At Ainata, the restaurant at Hotel Le K2 Altitude in Courchevel, my lamb was overcooked and the texture wasn't right. The hummus and pita were both colder than I expected, too. Our drinks took quite a while to arrive, which added an unintended bit of humour to the evening. For a smoother meal, you might want to try somewhere else in the area.

There are just four tables in this very small, quiet and cosy restaurant inside a very fancy hotel. The decor is lovely, and the service was impeccable, professional, friendly, and kind. The food was creative and delicious, and the wine list is very good, with some rare bottles. You can order à l carte and choose your own dishes, or go with the chef's fixed menu. If you choose the fixed menu, the whole table has to have the same one.

The food here was the best I've had in all of France, even better than the other three-star restaurant I tried last night. Every dish worked so harmoniously and seemed to lift the meal to another level. C'est bon! I really enjoyed my time here. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were professional and friendly.
