The place itself is nice, with direct access to the slopes, but the staff side of things was a pain. Before arrival, we got endless emails asking for extra details, forms, and our ETA. The departure instructions inside the apartment were confusing and contradictory, too. Then there were cheap attempts to get more money out of us. They claimed we'd caused stains that were already there, and said they'd provided more than the two keys we received. The sort of thing that's impossible to prove after the fact. Ridiculous at this price.

The staff really made the difference, and Picasso the cat is clearly loved by every resident. The restaurant food was very good and served generously, so congratulations to the team. The rooms are clean but on the small side, and couples with ski clothes and all their gear may find them a squeeze. Still, it was good value for money and we had a very good time. The location isn't quite perfect, but it's close.

I've had three lovely holidays here. The hotel's close to the ski slopes, and dinner was good. It's not bad, though it won't win any beauty contests. I'd give it four out of five stars.
