La Bastide Saint Etienne

The outdoor area was a highlight, with plenty of privacy, a pool to cool off in, shade from a beautiful olive tree, a great BBQ, and ideal outdoor furniture. Inside, the house felt full of family care and was spotless. The spacious rooms had wonderfully large beds, and the bathrooms were roomy too. We also loved the open-plan kitchen, its large fridge/freezer, and the high-quality appliances. It’s well placed for getting to the Mediterranean Sea, Cathar castles, the Mazamet suspension bridge, mountain lakes, wineries, gorges, Carcassonne, and the thermal baths, with lovely scenic routes along the way. Supermarkets and gas stations are just five minutes away. This place is a real gem, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. We’ll definitely return. Best regards, Ferry and Miranda

We spent a week in July in one of their wonderful houses and have no complaints at all. It's such a cute place, and the hosts were really helpful and lovely. I'd happily recommend staying here, and we’ll definitely be back.

The views across the stretches of vines were fantastic, and we got to experience France like locals rather than tourists during our three days there. This charming little village was so peaceful, and the hosts made the stay unforgettable with good food and really nice accommodation. It felt like an oasis, somewhere I'll dream of returning to many times.

The beautiful landscape around the village and some of the best wine we’ve ever tried made the region special for us. The owners made us feel welcome, and we had an amazing time at this fantastic place. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a genuine French experience.
