The restored farm has been decorated with so much care. Elisabeth welcomed us so warmly, then made the most delicious roast for dinner, slow-cooked over a wood fire. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

The landlady was really friendly and helpful, and the place made a lovely base for exploring Verdun and the surrounding area. We stayed two days with our dog and had a very pleasant time. Our room was individually and tastefully furnished. We especially enjoyed the open fireplace in the dining room and the wood-fired stove by the entrance.

The hostess was so nice, and everything was clean and fresh. We enjoyed the delicious three-course dinner and a good breakfast, with a beautiful view from this little countryside village. If you get the chance, visit the Battlefields outside Verdun. It was poignant, and hard to understand how cruel people can be. Highly recommended.

The owner is lively and very friendly. This unusual building has lovely, tastefully arranged decor, and the antique objects add a lot to the place.

We were a group of 14 staying at La Ferne Pateli, and Elisabeth, the owner, did a lot to make us comfortable. The accommodation had a charming feel, with antique furniture throughout. Just know ahead of time that it's in the middle of nowhere. We'll be back soon 😊
