The food showed real effort, and the room was adequate for a 3* hotel. But the welcome and service were shockingly unfriendly, which made leaving Le Goluret this morning feel sour. When we arrived after a long drive, our baby was already crying and we needed to sit down and comfort them. The host kept telling us we should have booked a room for four, even though we had booked on booking.com for two adults and our two-year-old, and had emailed ahead to ask about a cot for our toddler. At checkout, we were charged an extra €15 for our newborn, despite nothing extra being provided. It was a real surprise later to hear he had worked on a cruise ship. Fellow travellers might want to consider the similar accommodation nearby, which I’m sure is more child friendly.

We had a lovely time with the hosts, and the familiar atmosphere made us feel at home. Dinner and breakfast were nice, and the place is very dog-friendly. The location by the vineyards is beautiful too. In summer, air conditioning in the rooms would help us sleep better when it gets hot.

Hélène made us feel right at home and was such a friendly, welcoming hostess. The rooms are lovely, and the spot beside the vineyards is beautiful. I highly recommend these chambres d'hôtes, you won't be disappointed.

We slept really well, and the quiet made it easy to relax. The rooms are well equipped, and breakfast was good too. We were only here for one night and hadn't booked dinner, but Gauthier kindly offered to make us a salad. What arrived was a whole little meal: tasty tomato soup, fried ham and cheese sandwiches, baguette with a delicious cheese plate, and a small dessert. We enjoyed it so much. Thanks for everything, and all the best!

A peaceful village, comfortable rooms, welcoming hosts, and a delicious meal. We had a brilliant stay before and will come back again.
