We booked two nights through Expedia, but on arrival the owner said she wasn’t expecting us and had no room available. She also said she didn’t have time to check her computer. She couldn’t work out how to cancel the online booking, so I canceled it in the app. I was still charged 169dll. After many attempts to contact the chateau, neither Expedia nor I got a response from the owner. She didn’t answer the phone, only voicemail, never called back, and didn’t reply to Expedia’s emails about the dispute. I’d give this zero stars if I could.

Joëlle, her daughter, grandson, and son-in-law made us feel very welcome. They’re such friendly, down-to-earth people, and we really appreciated sharing their lovely home. We slept soundly in complete quiet, and the meal was excellent, made with care. It was a perfect weekend despite the weather. A big thank you to the whole family. I highly recommend the place.

Meals with Joëlle's family were a real pleasure, delicious and varied. Everyone is lovely, and you feel as though you’re part of the family. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful. I’ll definitely come back.
