The grounds looked lovely and clean, and the facilities we could see seemed good quality. Getting around the site in and out was easy enough with our 6.5m van. But after checking both the campsite website and Park4night, which said it was open all year, we drove there. The reception window said to call if nobody was around. We did, and were told the site was closed. My takeaway is to phone first about opening hours instead of assuming the websites are current.

The manager really made the stay nicer. They were kind, easy to reach, and always helpful. It's a peaceful campsite in a relaxing spot, just right if you're looking for some quiet.
