A lovely treehouse, and the kids had a blast with all the excitement of it. Breakfast was generous, and it was so quiet there. Really nice.

The equestrian farm was a handy place to stay, especially with the pool. Dinner at the big shared table was a nice chance to meet pilgrims passing through on the Camino de Santiago. The hosts were welcoming, though not especially accommodating. I wouldn't recommend coming in summer. It gets too hot, and the pony rides, there are no horses, happen in full sun. The ponies are cared for, but the tack is in very poor condition. Léa, the riding guide, didn't offer advice or information, and she wasn't attentive or trusting of the riders, even the most experienced ones. The grounds and gîte could use some work. There isn't any shade or a pleasant spot to relax during free time. Meals are hearty and basic, with no fruit or cheese offered all week. Bring your own snacks and treats.
