The best part of our overnight stop was how easy it was to unwind: our daughters got to meet the horses, and we could sit outside in private in the evening. The apartment was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was the best I've ever had. Breakfast was continental, served in a pleasant shared dining room with a few tables. We could also use the kitchen to make dinner since we were too tired to go out. On our return stay, we did eat out after the host suggested a place. We were a family of four travelling in a van with bikes from the UK via Le Shuttle towards the Dordogne. I’d been comparing hotels nearby, but didn’t want the hassle of tight parking or worrying about security. Le parc de Crecy was quiet, friendly and secure, and worked perfectly as a stop on the journey, around 3.5 hours from Le Shuttle and about 6-7 hours from our campsite in the Dordogne. We’ll be back.

There are animals all around this lovely setting, and the hosts made us feel so welcome. The place is clean and well looked after, and the service was superb. Thanks for such a warm reception. We’d happily recommend it.

The horses here are incredibly beautiful and clearly cared for, as are the guests. The scenery is breathtaking, and the hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I spent last night in a simply furnished room with a great bathtub and shower. Such a beautiful place, I’ll definitely return.

Waking up to horses galloping through the meadows was a real highlight. The park is magnificent, and I got a warm welcome. My room was simple but absolutely spotless. The filtered water is very soft :) I recommend it!

The horses are lovely company, and they add to the charm of this place surrounded by nature. The owner was warm, friendly and kind. It’s a beautiful property, carefully restored with buildings that stay true to local tradition. Inside, everything is well arranged, modern and understated, and the beds are comfortable.
