B&B HOTEL Creil Chantilly

The bedroom, bathroom, and breakfast were all as expected, but the stay still fell short. The automatic check-in failed, and getting access took so long that we missed our travel arrangements. The bedside light was loose and stuck switched on.

The bedding was really comfortable. The shower curtain was too short, though, and there was no shower mat.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants at the large shopping center beside the hotel, and the location also makes it convenient for attractions and trips to Chantilly, Compiègne, Pierrefonds, Paris, or Versailles. It's suitable as either a one-night stop or a base for a few days. For the price, cleanliness, breakfast, Wi-Fi, and comfort were adequate. The only issue was the jammed door mechanism in room 40. It was manageable and didn't change my overall rating. I recommend the hotel.

The rooms are on the small side, but they were comfortable and clean, and the shower was hot and powerful. I did wonder if it might come off the wall, though. The lobby has a self check-in machine because reception isn't staffed all the time; it gives you a code for both the hotel entrance and your room. A handy stop on a long drive, with lots of nearby dinner choices. I'd recommend Del Arte. Breakfast was okay, but there may not have been enough space for everyone. I don't know if the hotel was full. The two staff members seemed to struggle to keep up with clean plates, cups, and glasses while refilling the food.
