Châlet le Cerf-Voland

The pool and jacuzzi area is pleasant, though the water quality seems very questionable. The chalet is in a good spot in the resort, but the view is mostly of nearby apartments and chalets, hardly breathtaking. There’s very little bedroom storage and no wardrobe, and the bathrooms have hand basins rather than sinks. Keep in mind it sleeps 14, not 18: four beds are in a converted pantry reached through the kitchen, with no ventilation and a window that opens only 5 cm. You can't stand upright in there, and two of the beds are inaccessible. Poor value for money.

We had a great week here with friends, and the owner was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The chalet has spacious shared areas and great amenities, right by the ski lifts and close to everything in Crest-Voland. Nothing to complain about, I’d highly recommend it to families or groups of friends.

We could put on and take off our skis right outside the chalet, since it’s right by the slopes. Inside, everything made the stay easy and comfortable, from the well-heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and boot dryer to the bathrooms in the bedrooms and very comfortable beds. The upstairs living area is spacious and has an exceptional view. We’ll be back! 😉

The pool was spotless, and the water and the whole area were really clean. The room was sumptuous too. We enjoyed the relaxation area, and it made our family curfew evenings brighter, while giving our youngest a chance to discover how much fun the pool is.
