A good quality meal, served without any fuss.

We were only there for four days, but if we'd known how nice it would be, we definitely would have stayed longer. The owners were incredibly friendly and spoke French, German, English and Dutch, which made the start of our holiday in France much easier. Our room was very large and, in our opinion, beautifully furnished. Each morning we had a lovely breakfast in the garden, and in the evening the owner, who's also the chef, served us an excellent meal. There are two dogs. They barked a little at first, but after a short while getting to know us, they were very friendly. The place is a little outside Crest, which suited us perfectly, and there's a large gravel parking area with free parking. Warm regards to the owners, and thanks for a pleasant stay.

The garden seating makes up for the restaurant being on an industrial estate. The Dutch chef cooks exquisite food, and the friendly, customer-focused staff make this a fantastic lunch spot. A three-course lunch is €19. Dinner costs more and has a different menu; they're occasionally open on Friday and Saturday evenings, with an evening menu that differs from lunch. This place deserves a star.

We tried the surprise menu today and it was superb, with more than enough food and beautifully presented dishes. Service was excellent too. It takes a good look around the industrial zone to find the entrance, but it's worth it. And Dutch visitors can easily get by here in our language.
