Euro Hôtel Paris Créteil

The rooms were hot and had only beds. There was no air conditioning, Wi-Fi, fridge, iron, or soap in the dispensers, and the interior smelled bad. The staff seemed nice but didn’t help. I spent two nights here with my kids in several rooms, and they were the worst nights of our trip. If you want a good night’s sleep, avoid this hotel at all costs.

The rooms were very clean and warm when we stayed in November, with heating available. The bed was big enough and comfortable, and we really liked the fresh, clean breakfast food. Service was great and very helpful. Prices were very good, too. The hotel is 25 minutes from Paris and a 10-minute walk from the metro. I definitely recommend Euro Hôtel Paris Créteil.

The lobby bathroom was in awful shape. When I tried to use it, the lock broke, and a man had to try prying it open with a spoon. Our rooms were cramped, the hallways dirty, and the staff were no help when we needed them. One of the cleaning ladies stole $500 from my family, despite our “do not clean/disturb” sign. The money wasn’t in plain sight, it was hidden deep in a suitcase, so I believe she was deliberately going through our belongings looking for it. When we confronted the staff, they kept brushing the matter aside and refused to cooperate or share any information. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Our room was cramped and very hot, with only a fan. The customer service was terrible too. I requested a cot for my three-month-old three weeks ahead and was told it would be ready when we arrived, but it wasn’t. I asked three times before we went out and twice after we got back. Finally, my husband was told all three of the cots they have were in use. They offered us a drink instead. I demanded my money back, and then they found a cot an hour later, by which time my baby and toddler were hysterical. It felt like they thought we’d just forget about it. Avoid this place.
