We were glad to find somewhere open, since there was nowhere else serving food and the place seemed to have closed for the summer season the week before. It was mostly locals there. We just had a simple pizza and beer, and eating outdoors in the sunshine was exactly what we wanted. The service was really friendly.

The menu of the day changed on my three visits that week: I had meat and chips, cod fish pie, and mixed grill. Each time there was fresh melon and cold meats to start. It’s traditional home cooking, served on the terrace when it’s hot and indoors in winter. A rustic restaurant like this deserves support while it’s still around. Once local places disappear, they may not come back.

Really good service and staff. I’d go back if I’m in the area.

No atmosphere, and the meal was poor. I won’t be back.
