The restaurant is quite small, so booking ahead is a good idea. The food is all homemade and excellent, and the service is attentive. Great value too. Without a reservation, you may end up on the waiting list.

We came for the restaurant, not the cottage, since we hadn't stayed there. We arrived at 12:30 without booking and were told it was fine, though we weren't seated until 1:15. That gave us time to tour the abbey. For 26 euros, the starter, main and dessert were generous, very good, and homemade, mostly with produce from the nearby farm. The welcome and meal made the 4 km detour from the Savine road worthwhile. I'd recommend it, probably with a reservation. Bravo!

Half-board was reasonably priced for the room, dinner and breakfast. The restaurant meal was homemade, local and plentiful, and our room was very clean. The guesthouse is also well placed for visiting the abbey or setting off on a hike.

We slept well in this quiet place and had an excellent meal made with fresh, homemade products. The welcome was fantastic, and they even lent us bikes. What a lovely surprise. We've added the address to our diary and will be back. Thank you for everything, greetings from the Haut-Rhin region.

We hadn't booked ahead, but the staff were really helpful. The portions were generous and delicious, the prices fair, and everyone was smiling. We had a great time!
