The ocean views and little sailboats were lovely, and the price was good. Breakfast had a range of pastries, and it was clear someone had put care into making it a nice experience. Still, we left with mixed feelings and I probably wouldn't recommend the hotel. Our room was only adequate, and a smell from the hallway got into it. There were signs of mold around the shower, though the sink and toilet area were clean. At breakfast, I asked to take a roll or croissant for later and was told I couldn't, and that I had to eat all the food there. I'd only had a small bowl of cereal with yogurt for €12. The woman serving us wasn't very friendly.

We had another stay booked for September. The hotel staff were professional and pleasant, and there was plenty to do nearby, with amazing beaches. We stayed in a very small room at the back, so there was no sea view, but it was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast offered a good choice, and the hostellerie restaurant was excellent, with a large menu. Our meal was delicious and beautifully presented. There are also plenty of places to eat within walking distance or a short drive if you don't want the restaurant every night.

The dessert was nice, but the starter and main course had no flavor or love in them, in my view as a cook. I missed butter with the sandwich, and there was no salt or pepper. The risotto was like bland rice pudding, which meant the cod didn't get a chance to stand out.

Our car broke down in the rain, and the owners and staff went out of their way to help us. They were kind, considerate, and extremely helpful. It's a lovely place with great views.

Lovely spot overlooking the harbour, with very good service. The restaurant serves quality seafood for gourmets, and I'd strongly recommend giving it a try. The choice for younger guests could perhaps be better.
