The house itself is superb, but the welcome from the owners was very cold. We were meant to have a welcome cocktail with the smartbox, but it became tea and grenadine, while the owners watched closely and seemed eager for us to leave the room. Signs around the house forbade eating in the rooms and picnicking on the terrace because they offered a guest table. That made it hard to feel at ease. Breakfast was okay, nothing more. The worst part was how the owner brought up the tourist tax. I’d forgotten it because I thought it was included, and I didn’t have change. When I asked if they could change €50, the response was, “Don’t push it either, we’re already taxed at 30% with a box…”. In short, avoid if you have a BOX, and maybe even if you don't.

The meal was a real treat: homemade tielle sétoise, then generous, flavorful duck confit made with high-quality ingredients. It was worthy of a top-notch restaurant. The calm, charming setting also made it easy to relax and enjoy a timeless moment. Véronique and Christophe welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away. They were incredibly kind and took the time to make our stay enjoyable. We had a wonderful time at Clos Mazerolles through our Smartbox, with everything feeling perfect from start to finish. We left delighted and wholeheartedly recommend it. We'll be back this summer to enjoy the beautiful weather, and we're sure to return to this address with great pleasure. The accommodation has plenty of charm and was tastefully restored. It was also the cleanest rental we've ever seen. The hosts were friendly and took time to chat. You can tell Véronique and Christophe care deeply about their work. Everything was perfect from beginning to end.

The homemade meal was generous, and the room was clean and cozy in a quiet village. The owners were cheerful, open to conversation, and happy to offer good advice. A warm, friendly welcome. I recommend it 👌🏻

I spent several weeks at Véro and Christophe's place on business trips, and I recommend it 100%. The rooms are lovely, the food is always excellent, and so is the wine 🤣, in moderation, of course. They always welcomed me with a smile. Thanks for all those weeks in your company. Cédric and Pettete 😁
