The bedrooms are nicely decorated, and the beds were really comfortable. There’s plenty of room to spread out, with outdoor games too, and the garden and pool are beautifully kept. The owners gave us privacy but were around whenever we had a question. The kitchen is small, though it had what we needed and a big fridge, plus there’s a large barbecue outside. I’d happily recommend it.

We had a fun five-day stay. The swimming pool is huge, and there are several power outlets around the property, handy for phones and baby monitors. There are also hiking maps to look through. Alain and Margaux were very friendly, and dinner was always delicious. Breakfast was arranged in advance, with coffee, juice, croissants, rolls, bread, muesli, yogurt and more. Our room was clean, the shower drained properly, and Alain greeted us when we arrived with his dog.

Such a lovely place, and the cottage was magnificent and super clean. We got a really friendly, low-key welcome and very good advice from the hosts. I didn’t try the pool since it was too early in the season, but I can imagine it’s worth booking ahead for summer. There aren’t many hiking trails nearby, which is the one downside, but it’s not a deal breaker. 👍😎
