Villa pecheur

We spent most of our time near the sea, which is only 300 meters away. Just across the road there’s a wooded park with a pond and paths for walking, running, or following the fitness trail. The apartment is also well insulated: we never heard Bertrand upstairs, and the double glazing kept outside noise down. Inside, the living room opens onto two terraces set up for different sun exposures. The room is lovely, and the sofa bed was comfortable for the two adults who slept there so our child could have the bedroom. That room has a lawn outside, with armchairs where we could sit with coffee and watch the sun rise opposite the gable. The bedding was very comfortable, and there was plenty of storage for a family’s belongings. There’s also a folding bed and a travel cot. The kitchen had everything we needed, including an induction hob, oven, fridge with a small freezer, microwave, and utensils. There’s a gas griddle outside too. The bathrooms were clean and nicely kept, with a spacious shower. The apartment had been furnished a little over a year before our visit and was very clean and pleasant. Bertrand, who lives upstairs with his wife, was discreet but helpful, answering our requests and sharing advice. He was also remarkably generous in making up for a mishap that wasn’t his fault.
