Breakfast had homemade jams and marmalade, and the stay cost less than a nearby chain hotel while still feeling like a better choice. The lounge and dining room downstairs were lovely, with old furniture that added character. It was hard to find at first, but reception was welcoming. The place itself is an old building, with marble fireplaces carved with lion feet in the bedrooms. Beds were comfortable and the linen clean, though the decor felt dated and nothing matched. Fresh bread and brioche instead of packaged bread would have made breakfast nicer, especially since that seemed easy to arrange.

The photos here come out looking like they belong in a magazine, and the place is really beautiful for the price. The only drawback I noticed was that the walls seemed a bit thin. If you sleep very lightly, bring earplugs. I hope I can come back soon.

Such a lovely place, and the people were amazing. If you’re after peace and quiet, this is the spot. I’ll be back.

We picked this place as a base for visiting several spots nearby, since we had a rental car, and it worked out really well for the price. The property is charming and had everything we needed. The lady who welcomed us was so helpful and warm. Everything felt perfect and wonderful. Highly recommend it!

The garden is magnificent, and the setting is peaceful. The hosts were very friendly, and the food was excellent. The house is clearly well cared for, with tasteful, typical Norman decor. Congratulations!
