Hotel le Vascon

There’s no parking, and the room felt old-fashioned. Music and street noise from the bars across the road came through the poor insulation and kept us awake. At 8 a.m., they were vacuuming the neighboring rooms, which wasn’t pleasant for guests.

I arrived late, but reception was open around the clock. The hotel is simple and very clean. I left my credit card in the room, and they sent it back to me the next day at no charge. Really nice place. See you soon.

For €38 on a Saturday night, the room was very reasonably priced. The bathroom was great, with a huge shower, and the bed was comfortable. There was a small TV and no air conditioning, which I can understand at that price. Mornings were far too noisy to sleep, though, so I can’t give it five stars.

My in-laws stayed here, and their room wasn’t made up for three nights. Once might happen, but going that long is especially concerning when the guests are disabled. When they politely asked why, staff just said they’d bring fresh towels. They were out all day, so there was plenty of time to clean. It didn’t feel like a serious hotel.
