The location worked well, with a supermarket and a good routier within walking distance. The bed linen was fresh and clean, but the rooms, especially the bathroom, really needed a better clean. It felt a bit impersonal. We used the machine check-in, and it did work.

The hotel itself was fine, but the charging points were a major problem for me. There were about a dozen and not one was working. That turned what should have been an easy journey into a nightmare of searching for somewhere to recharge. Anyone travelling in an electric car could run into the same issue.

The room and bathroom were very clean, the shower had a good flow, and the towels were nice. But our stay was a real letdown. We were travelling with a baby, so before booking we called to make sure there'd be a cot. The woman we spoke to, who spoke fluent French, said it was arranged. When we arrived exhausted, there was no person to check in with, just keypads. The confirmation email didn't explain that clearly, and the 24-hour phone line only told us to go to another section of the hotel to get the check-in working. There was no cot in the room, no way to ask for one, and no space for a travel cot despite the reassurances we'd been given. The bathroom handle came off in my husband's hand. The air conditioning seemed old or cheap. Even set below 10 degrees, the room was 26 degrees at 1am, while it was 20 outside. In the morning we saw that the fire alarm was just a shell, with most of it missing. A very disappointing end to an otherwise excellent holiday. The website didn't reflect our experience at all.
