The room was nicely decorated and very clean, and the pool was heavenly. My hosts were kind and always available when I needed help. The welcome and service were excellent. The property has a lovely view, but you won't get that view unless you book the larger apartment. I had two cold showers, although I didn't mind it too much.

The owners' hospitality was the best part, and the breakfasts were great too. We had wonderful views, a great pool, and a very good location. There are good restaurants nearby, including Chez Ketty for Creole food and Chez Ernest for something a bit more luxurious. Our room was spacious and clean, with all the amenities we needed. We didn't speak French, but communication was still easy. If you want to see more of Guadelupe, I'd recommend renting a car.

The owners are lovely, and the views are fantastic. We found it easy to reach by car and a good starting point for exploring Basse Terre. The room was great, and the infinity pool was wonderful. Have a “ti punch” with the owners and ask them for tips on getting around the island and places to visit.
