The owners were very friendly and glad to help with anything or share tips about the area. Our bungalow was basic but had what we needed, and everything was very clean. Each morning an Iguana greeted us from a tree in front of the bungalow! With the outdoor kitchen and terrace, it felt like staying in the jungle, floating above the nature below. That natural setting also means insects outside and inside, which is to be expected with this kind of accommodation. The bay of Deshaies looked wonderful from this amazing place.

It felt wonderfully calm here, just far enough from town to escape the noise while still feeling part of nature. The bungalows are open plan and surrounded by greenery, with birds coming and going and lovely sea views. We could open the windows wide and enjoy the wonderful air; the temperature stayed the same despite the humidity. There weren’t many mosquitoes, and mongooses meant we didn’t have to worry about snakes. Agnes and Guylain were perfect hosts. Their advice helped us see the sights Guadalupe is known for, and they made us feel like royalty during our stay. Best vacation ever, and we’ll definitely come back! ❤️

The rooms are superb, and the facilities, including the kitchen and fridge, are excellent. Some rooms do have restricted views. It’s a family hotel, so noise from babies and children carries through the closely built lodges. The walk up from town is steep and takes 10 minutes, there’s no restaurant nearby, and there are lots of mosquitoes.

The views are amazing, and the whole place has a jungle feel to it. We were greeted so warmly by the lovely hostess, and had a really good stay.
