Camping La Pinède

We’re staying at a nearby campsite, not this one, but the music here is so loud each night that it feels like we’re in a club and we can’t sleep. It also looks really crowded. If it’s this loud where we are, I can’t imagine what it must be like on the campsite itself. We definitely won’t stay anywhere near here again.

The spot by the river is quite nice, so that gets one star. But the toilets had no lights and there was no soap for washing hands. The so-called comfort tent pitches had holes and big stones, with just one tree. At night, we weren’t allowed to sit outside our tent or even use a small light. The owners kept intruding on our privacy and made us go into the tent, even though we only wanted to play cards. Maybe they’re aiming for a campsite for seniors, but they should say so on their website.

The staff were so accommodating, always smiling, and even helped me practice my French. We had a great time from our initial two-day booking through to adding another night. Since we went out of season, it was quiet for the four of us, and there were some awesome people parked near us. The bar and restaurant on site were great, and there are two pools, one for kids and one for adults. Booking the kayaking on the river Drome is something we’d 110% recommend. It was one of the best experiences we’ve had in the last few years! Thanks for making the trip even better. You guys are awesome, à bientôt!

We pitched our large tent in a beautiful spot right beside the river. The employees were very friendly, the pool was really nice, and the sanitary building was clean and in good shape. The campsite restaurant was good, and the ice cream was good too.
