La Romance

We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve with six friends. The house was spotless, and Corinne welcomed us so warmly. There’s plenty of room to gather around the inviting large round dining table, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We stayed for three days over the New Year weekend in a beautiful, spacious, comfortable house. A big plus is that every bedroom has its own bathroom. It’s perfect for getting together with friends.

Corinne can suggest lovely walks and mountain biking routes from this beautiful cottage right by the forest. Inside, there’s a bright dining room with a large round table for 8-10 people, a roomy, fully equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable living room. Corinne also offers yoga classes, so don’t hesitate to try one.

The host was very kind, and our stay was quiet, relaxing, and high quality. Dogs are welcome, just let her know ahead of time. We got to stay in both the Butterfly and Lavender rooms. We preferred Lavender for its colors and four-poster bed, though Butterfly was comfortable too, especially with its whirlpool tub and little terrace overlooking a fountain. The breakfast room is beautiful as well.

Our room, "Les Papillons," had very comfortable bedding and looked out onto a small waterfall. We enjoyed a fantastic private spa, and breakfast was very good. La Romance is a magnificent house in a green setting, with a peaceful, welcoming feel every time we visit. Corinne, the owner, is wonderful and attentive.
