The little bakery a two-minute walk away had fresh bread and croissants each morning, which was a lovely bonus. We also really liked how peaceful the site felt, with roomy pitches and a great playground for kids. The facilities were modern, spotless, and clearly cared for. The no-shoes rule in the showers helps keep things clean, and camper van services and internet are free. We were there in April with friends, and the owners were so accommodating when we asked for neighboring pitches. They even offered to refund the kitchen fee since we didn't need it, though we hadn't asked. This was our favorite campsite of the trip. We'd happily return.

We stayed in a pod for four nights and had a really good time. It's a lovely spot by the river, run by a very friendly family. Everyone in the family speaks English well, and the manager also speaks Dutch. The sanitary facilities were clean and worked properly, and there's a bakery within walking distance. The parking area felt secure, with a gate that stays closed after 10 pm. That suited me perfectly, since I could leave my trailer and motorbike there without worrying. I'd visit again.

The riverside setting was a hit with our kids, and it was easy to get down to the water. We also walked into town for the bakery and shop, and stopped by the church. The campsite has a lovely atmosphere, from check-in to the other holidaymakers. The family has done a great job, and we liked that cars aren't allowed to drive around inside. The toilets and showers were great, even with the no-shoes rule. We'd been recommended the site by friends who stayed the year before. We stopped there on our way back to the UK after three or four weeks in France, but left a day early because we wanted to head farther north and be closer to our Channel Tunnel crossing. Our one issue came the night before we left. A gentleman from the family knocked and told us we needed to turn off our AC because it broke their quiet-time rules. We respect the rules, but AC wasn't mentioned at check-in or anywhere else, and the summer nights in France were baking hot. None of the other campsites we'd stayed at in France had objected to AC during quiet time. If it's a rule, it should be made clear when people arrive. He was very abrupt, and since other negative reviews seem to mention this same family member, perhaps the family could address it. That was the only downside for us. The campsite itself was a great visit.

We found the owners really friendly and helpful, speaking at least three languages. Our pitch was clean, and the play area was great for little kids. The on-site Katak rental was a nice extra, and there's a bakery about 200 metres away. One of the cleanest campsites we've seen.

We hired good quality bikes on site for a very reasonable price, and the location worked well for visiting the champagne houses in the area, including by bike. The host gave us a lovely welcome and was very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. After visiting campsites for more than 20 years, this is easily our favorite. It was calm and quiet, the facilities were spotless, and the place is clearly very well managed. We don't have young children, but the safe play area looked amazing, and we think kids would love it. We only wish we'd discovered the site earlier and could have stayed longer.
