Our stay was very good, and the room was warm, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was extremely good for both quality and value. The only thing that spoiled it was the refusal of two female reception staff to unlock the downstairs toilet for me. It’s the only toilet downstairs and is marked for men, women, and disabled guests. I’m disabled, but the first woman said no, and the second also refused, waving me away and telling me to use the one in my room. By the time the lift had gone up to the 5th and back down and I’d got to my room on the 5th, it was too late. I had to unpack my bag, which was ready for checkout, shower, repack, and check out. Thank you so much, madam? Maybe next time I and other disabled guests will be given a key to that toilet.

The front desk staff were lovely and easy to deal with, and I was pleased with my stay. My room had no hair dryer, but the air conditioning worked amazingly, which is rare for Ibis hotels. It stayed a nice 18°C all evening, just how I like it. I had a late night and checked out at noon. Finding parking when checking in was the annoying part, since the hotel is on a busy street and the spaces out front are usually full. After check-in, parking costs 10 € a night, which is actually not bad. The gated area felt safe for the car, and they gave me a map and clear parking instructions.

The best part was being allowed to keep our bikes safely in the room. The staff were helpful and friendly as well. The budget Ibis looked new or recently refurbished, with bright, clean decor, a very comfortable bed, and a good-sized shower.

It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the main town and close to the ferry port. The hotel also has secure parking on site, though spaces are limited, so you need to book ahead. Staff were very friendly, polite, and welcoming. The rooms and bathroom were clean, the beds comfortable, and body wash and towels were provided. A perfect hotel.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the location near the train station is great. Breakfast came with good coffee and croissants. We could check out late for a small 5€ fee.
