Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of local and international choices, and Evgenia made sure everything was just right. The staff were warm and attentive too, dealing with requests quickly and offering suggestions for the area. Our room looked out over the sea, and waking to the waves and fresh sea air was lovely. Mercury Hotel in Dieppe has a cozy feel and a great seafront location. We had an unforgettable getaway at the Mercury hotel in Dieppe.

The family room was a good size for our short stay and the hotel was comfortable, very clean, and well equipped. We stayed one night with family before catching the ferry from Dieppe. It’s close to the waterfront, Chateau Musee, and several restaurants. Parking costs extra, and breakfast in particular felt pricey for what you got. Children under 10 eat free, which is a nice bonus.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a panoramic view from the dining area. My room had lots of windows facing the sea, and I really liked its layout, especially the see-through wardrobe. The car park felt secure. I came in on the 5.30 am ferry, and the staff kindly let me wait in reception and use the WiFi until the cafes opened. I’ll stay at the Mercure again on my next trip to Dieppe.

The room felt a little small for a premium, but it was completely clean and the housekeeper had done a great job. Staff were wonderful and very helpful, and the buffet breakfast was adequate. There’s no hotel restaurant, though you can order snacks if you’re desperate. The location is handy for shops, restaurants, a supermarket, and the amazing Saturday market.
