The staff made a real impression on me. They were consistently warm and keen to help, even when the TV remote needed a new battery. They handled that small issue with care and apologized, which I appreciated. The hotel is in a pretty old building with lots of character, and you can walk to just about everything from the door. There are some old-building quirks: no elevator, creaky floors, and you might hear people in nearby rooms. I didn't mind those things and found they added to the charm, though they may matter if you need easy accessibility or expect modern soundproofing. Just around the corner, L’Bout de la Rue serves mussels with frites, and it was one of our best meals in Dijon. For me, the location, the building itself, and the service are the three things that count most in a hotel, and this place did well on all of them.

I've loved this hotel on both visits, in 2019 and again in 2025. The people are so friendly, it's in a great spot, and it has a really authentic French feel. Everything was good value.

Right in the old town, the place was very quiet, with friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. The old building has been modernized with taste, and both the room and the property looked beautiful.

This place has kept its original character and feels comfortable, even though it's far from luxurious. What really stood out was the customer care, well beyond what you usually get. We'd strongly recommend it.

The people were lovely, and the beds were okay. They even recommended a restaurant and brought my husband's purse, with all his credit cards, after he left it at reception. Our room may have been the last one available. It was at the back, reached across a wet, slippery outdoor area, and felt dark and a bit disappointing.
