Le Chambellan

I wasn’t in Dijon to sightsee, but after a couple of hard days it was a lovely surprise to explore the town. The hotel is right in the historic heart, close to some of the city’s nicest sights. Parking is manageable too, with a garage about a 7-minute walk away. Ask reception for a parking receipt and they’ll take care of everything. The hotel itself is clean and well kept, the staff are excellent, and the owner is perfectly bilingual and very accommodating. You can choose a simple room or one with a kitchen for making your own meals. Thanks for a great stay, and keep up the good work.

For a 2-star hotel, the room was surprisingly nice and the bed was comfortable. We were there for one night during a bike tour, and the staff were very helpful at check-in and showed us where to leave the bikes. It more than covered what we needed for the night.

For the price, we got a good deal. It was the cheapest hotel we could find for our trip to Dijon. The building looks a little old, but it was okay. Our room was clean and not too small, though a bit cold. The bathroom was clean too, with towels, a bar of soap, and shower gel. It’s near the theatre, with minimarts close by and halal food available nearby.

I booked this place by accident, but it’ll do the trick and it isn’t expensive. If you can, get a room with your own bathroom, like we did. It has character if that’s what you’re after, though I’m not a fan of seeing wool blankets on hotel beds.
