Le Petit Tertre

We were welcomed by Yuka with a sparkling drink for our honeymoon, and she brought us a generous breakfast every morning with croissants, yogurt, juice, eggs, bread, and more. The room was spacious and well located in town, and the price was reasonable. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel. Even the shower was great, with overhead and handheld fixtures, good pressure, hot water, and a stained glass window you could open or close. The AC worked wonderfully. Every detail felt right. A must stay in Dijon!

The owner was charming, spoke English wonderfully, and took care of all our small needs. She also made breakfast for all five of us each morning, very French and delicious. The price was super fair. This is a spotless little boutique hotel in a well-kept historic building, full of antiques and thoughtful touches, right in the heart of the historic district. Historic sites, restaurants, bars, shops, and plenty more are just a short walk away. The neighborhood felt very safe. We’ll visit again, it’s a real gem.

Yuka made breakfast amazing every time. The place is a great base for exploring Dijon, with everything within walking distance.

We’re six people and have happily stayed here for almost a week, six nights. Yuka, the innkeeper, speaks three languages and gives travelers excellent service. Our comfortable room was full of antiques, and breakfast was tasty. The hotel is a lovely, affordable choice if you want to be right in Dijon’s historic center. It’s a real treasure.
