Logis Hôtel Darcy Dijon Centre

The location is good, and the room was lovely with a luxurious bathroom. We liked the bar when it was open, and the staff were really good about opening it when we asked. Still, the room was noisy at night with the window open, and we needed to open it because we couldn't figure out the heat controls or the air conditioning, assuming it even worked. There were hardly any coat hangers, like at virtually every hotel these days. I'm not sure we'd stay again next time we're in Dijon.

The rooms are small and unbearably hot because the air conditioning doesn't work. Staff said it had been out since December 2024. Keep a close eye on the bill, too: they charged us €150 more than the booking confirmation showed. Management wasn't interested in refunding us, replied with a lie, then stopped answering altogether.

The room had no space for much beyond the bed, so we couldn't find anywhere to put our two suitcases. It was 8m2, not 15m2, and had no fridge or wardrobe. With the temperature at 40 outside, the air conditioning wasn't working, and we didn't get the water we'd been told we'd receive because of that. The breakfast for a four-star hotel was almost nonexistent: cold powdered scrambled eggs and bacon, with the rest only somewhat like a continental breakfast. That shouldn't happen at a four-star hotel! The dining-room lady was helpful, though she couldn't speak English. There's only public parking, 150m from the hotel. It deserves no more than two or three stars.

The service was really good, and the rooms are beautiful.
