Luxury Suite Lilas 2

The ceiling was soaked and everything seemed damaged. There was no hot water or Wi-Fi, and they provided just one towel and one set of bed linen for four people. They also say parking is included, but you have to pay for it. The worst apartment I've ever stayed in.

The kitchen and bathroom were in deplorable shape. There was caked-on grime, dirty dishes, maggots in the oven, and a sticky, smelly refrigerator. Dust covered the furniture, floors, and even the walls. The beds weren't made when we arrived, and the bedding was suspiciously stained. Despite the listing, there wasn't enough bedding, duvets, or pillows for five people. Photos attached. We stayed two nights, and it was by far our worst experience. Our car became a five-star hotel because we found the place so unwelcoming. The owner's two other apartments are in the same state of disrepair, so this doesn't seem to be an isolated case. We couldn't reach the owner, who blocked us after we tried to get in touch. This place is a disgrace and shouldn't be offered for rent. Avoid it for your health and peace of mind. If renting apartments feels like a chore, don't do it, but please don't put travelers through this.

The apartment looked awful in person, nothing like the photos, so we didn't stay. We learned to check reviews first, but unfortunately, we couldn't get our money back. We contacted Booking.com, and they haven't done much about it either. They should be ashamed to list hotels like this.

The shower has been repaired and works, and there was hot water, unlike what other reviews said. The owner also deserves credit for placing us here after cancelling our other booking. He could have told us to get a refund and look elsewhere, but with the wedding the next day, that would have been difficult. Still, the place wasn't well maintained, hygiene was average, and the photos seemed at least 10-15 years old and didn't reflect what was there. For one night after a very boozy evening, it was acceptable, especially at €60 a night compared to other places at €200. But I wouldn't rent it again unless the reviews improved and there were photos to back that up. Everyone deserves a second chance.
