Revised review: I first gave this three stars, but after the new owners contacted me, I've changed the rating and kept my original comments. They clearly care, so I expect issues to be addressed and the experience to be better. The apartment is lovely and authentic, well located and appointed, overlooking a beautiful, quiet square. But the lack of cleanliness and bed bugs in the main room took away from it. It's a shame the proprietor may not know that the cleaning service isn't up to scratch.

We stayed one night and found the bed very comfortable. The rooms are small but adequate, with modern facilities, nice furnishings, and imaginative interior design that makes good use of an old building. The kitchen area has what you'd need if staying a week and cooking for yourself. The TV had Netflix and other cable providers, so we could watch English-language shows. One thing to bear in mind: there's no elevator, and the upstairs rooms are reached by a narrow staircase. If you have large or heavy suitcases, ask for a ground-floor suite. For restaurants, turn left out of the building, then left again and walk to the end of that street, where you'll find a square full of them. Several were booked on the pleasant Saturday we visited. We found a very pleasant Italian restaurant with really good pizza, an excellent salade niçoise, and generous glasses of wine. Farther along the block, Cité International de Gastronomie has other inviting-looking restaurants we didn't try, plus shops selling all kinds of gourmet treats. I recommend Ma Suites without hesitation.
The top-floor Alex apartment was great, with a fully stocked kitchen and a really nice shower. It's basically an Airbnb-style place, with stairs up to the bedrooms. Netflix on the TV came in handy, and all the main sights are within walking distance.
It's a cute place, but the price is too high given how unclean it was. There were stains on the floor around the toilet, human hairs on the pillows and sheets, stained dirty towels, and bird poop all over the patio furniture. I sent photos of everything to the property manager, but nothing was done: no extra cleaning, no discount, and no follow-up. I won't be back.
A little piece of heaven in Dijon, with lovely interior design and a central location. The best place to stay there.
