The room was decent, and the city center is close enough to walk to. Be aware that the parking clearance is only 1.85m. On checkout day the lift wasn’t working properly, so I had to take the stairs down.

The team at Marriott Bonvoy Dubai made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. There were warm smiles, a smooth check-in, and real care throughout, with every detail handled perfectly. They set a global standard for hospitality and luxury. Easily the best reception experience in the world, five stars without a doubt!

Friendly staff and a good location, but the hotel was a big letdown. The rooms are extremely tiny and hugely overpriced. I could barely find space for my suitcase, and a bright blue advertising light in the window, which staff wouldn’t or couldn’t turn off, lit up the room at night. The elevator is very slow, and the stairs don’t lead to reception. Breakfast was pathetic. This place feels like a basic two-star hotel, so that’s what I’m giving it.

I’m still very upset about this experience. I booked the Magique Suite with my Marriott membership and credit card on 5/27/2025 for 7/18-20/2025, and got an immediate confirmation. They sent a reminder and confirmed again on 7/12/2025. But when my family and I arrived on 7/18/2025, the front desk said they had canceled the reservation and emailed me the day before, on 7/17/2025. After a long trip from America, I hadn’t checked my email often, so this was a real shock. They said my Marriott credit card somehow wasn’t working, even though I’d used it throughout my European trip. They put us in a much smaller room, and I don’t understand why: I used the same card to book and pay for those smaller rooms on the spot without a problem. How could they cancel a suite I’d booked and confirmed two months earlier just one day before I arrived? There was also a strong fragrance throughout the hotel that caused nasal allergic reactions for my son and me. Anyone prone to nasal allergies should be aware.
