We had a fantastic breakfast in this welcoming hotel, tucked away but right in the middle of the town square. The rooms are modern and comfortable, set in a gorgeous old medieval building. Of all the nice small hotels we’ve stayed at in the western half of France, this one, where five of us came from the US, was by far the most interesting, historic, and well appointed. If you’re visiting Dinan, St Malo, Cancale, or anywhere within an hour, don’t even think about staying elsewhere.

The location is hard to beat, right in the heart of the village beside the stunning Basilica. Our room at La Maison Pavie was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and breakfast was a highlight, with a lovely assortment of fresh, local products. The staff gave excellent service throughout our visit. This centuries-old property has a fascinating history and made for a truly magical stay. We highly recommend La Maison Pavie for a memorable visit to Dinan.

Ghislain was so kind and gave us great advice about what to do and where to go in Dinan. He really made us feel at home. My partner and I stayed for one night, and the whole place was fantastic. Quite possibly the best hotel I’ve stayed in, and I’d absolutely recommend it to everyone.

The service and reception were second to none, and breakfast couldn’t have been better. The rooms are spacious and elegant, though the staircase is a little steep and narrow. Once you’ve found the oldest house in Dinan, get ready for a wonderful stay. Thank you for a lovely experience.

We had a very satisfying stay in this well-preserved medieval townhouse, furnished with charm. Our room is reached by the original medieval staircase, and its thoughtful, stylish design won us over. Breakfast was generous, with interesting conversation around the big table and helpful tips from the host. We’d happily recommend it.
