The place and location are beautiful, and it’s great value. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Wish I could give it an even higher rating.

A lovely old building with wonderful gardens. It’s peaceful but still close to the centre, and the hosts are great.

We found the beds comfortable and the bathrooms clean, but the rest of the comfort was only average. The house has an unusual feel and a friendly welcome, though cleanliness could be better, with dust and cobwebs around, and the decor seemed dated. Breakfast was quite industrial, with little choice, no fresh bread or pastries, and bottled or carton orange juice from the "Repère" brand. In winter the place isn’t really heated. When we arrived there was a strong damp and mold smell, and the oil-filled space heater in the entrance smelled unpleasant. We aired everything out and turned up the radiators, and it was fine after that. We asked several times for toilet paper and are still waiting. It’s a shame, since better management could make this a great place in the heart of Dinan.

It’s an authentic period Breton house, but finding it was a nightmare. The location wasn’t explained properly, and you can’t drive right up to it. They should explain how to get there, but didn’t. We spent more than an hour wandering around and asking people for directions. Totally not advisable!

A warm welcome, a lovely room full of vintage things, and a fresh, nice breakfast made this a lovely, intimate place to stay. It’s close to the port, and there’s parking nearby.
