The location puts you between two lovely walks, about 10 minutes on foot to the old town in one direction and the riverbank in the other. It’s peaceful here, with that 15th-century French atmosphere, and the inn itself feels like a family home that’s been adapted into a B&B. Each room is different and has a family-room feel. The owner, Marilyn, lives upstairs with her lovely cat. She’s warm and chatty, and really tries to make you feel at home while you’re away. Breakfast was just right, with a good selection rather than anything fancy. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to Dinan.

The old house is comfortable, welcoming, and in a beautiful area. We had a 15-year-old with us, and they were so kind to her, even leaving out a pain au chocolat when she slept in. The B&B was very reasonably priced. We’d recommend it to families or anyone passing through, and we plan to come back in summer.

Maryline was a wonderful host, welcoming us and helping with whatever we needed. She kept everything spotless and had a proper biker’s breakfast ready for us before we headed out to explore the Brittany countryside. The hotel is in Dinan’s Artisan quarter, and much of it dates back to the 14th century. It’s a magical place in a beautiful, historic city. I love Dinan nearly as much as I love Maryline and her manly cat, Monsieur Mistoffolees. Vive la France!

The rooms are attractive and recently renovated, and the lady who runs the place is friendly and helpful. It’s right in the heart of dinan, and they even provide a free parking card. The only letdown for me was the WiFi.
