I can’t speak to the rooms or the food, but last month the woman in charge let me use the toilet and served us coffee before service had started. There were two of us travelling from Scotland, and I was so grateful for how warmly and kindly she welcomed us. The place was spotless and looked like somewhere we’d have loved to stay and eat. That kindness means a lot, and I won’t forget it.

The staff made us feel very welcome, and the service was superb. My husband, our two teenagers, and I all enjoyed the meal. Everything was cooked just right. I’d recommend it!
