Hôtel Printania

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the young woman at reception helped make that happen. We also enjoyed the water views and the service. The building does feel a little worn, with some maintenance apparently put off, but we still had a good stay.

The hotel's old-fashioned feel suited us, and it was still comfortable throughout. We were made to feel welcome and would come back. The location was great, and the restaurant served good food with good service. Our room was tidy and clean, though bedside lights could be better, and having coffee and tea facilities would have been nice.

The harbor view was brilliant, and it was easy to walk into town from the hotel. Secure parking was a real plus. Our room could sleep five, though there were only three of us, and it was clean and comfortable with a very good bathroom. The furnishings were quirky and interesting. The restaurant was closed during our visit, though the menu looked good. Staff were impeccable and very helpful, and spoke English while understanding my pigeon French. We had three fun days and would recommend it.

The room was so hot that we couldn't sleep, and there were no shutters. We couldn't open the windows while keeping the curtains closed. Breakfast was chaotic too, with nowhere to set down a tray while getting food and hot drinks, and the boiling water made it feel dangerous. That's a shame because the hotel was charming, the location was perfect for us, and both the hotel staff and restaurant staff were excellent. We really enjoyed our evening meal.
