Canelle, the immense cat, made the place feel especially cozy, and the owner makes breakfast at home, which was amazing. The house has an authentic feel, with warm vintage decor, and its green principles are a real plus if you care about the planet. You’re treated like a dear friend, not just a guest. Pro tip: you can ask the owner for a yoga class.

We found La Magnanerie at the last minute and Pascale, the owner, gave us a lovely welcome. Her home is quiet and peaceful, tastefully decorated, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade bread and exquisite jams. You’ll feel right at home here and be very well received. If you need a place to stay in this area, don’t hesitate.

I went with my three oldest friends, and the three days at La Magnanerie left me feeling truly refreshed. Pascale’s wisdom and kindness enriched us so much, and her warm welcome made us feel completely at home. It’s a lovely place for a proper break from daily life, to disconnect and reconnect with yourself.

I spent a week here and came away feeling recharged. The peaceful inner courtyard felt like a little cocoon, and the scent of jasmine was pure bliss. Pascale put together a perfect program for my stay, and I’m grateful for her kindness and warm welcome. And I mustn’t forget Kanel, the owner. A great spot if you need to recharge.
