The staff were attentive and greeted us warmly. With the windows shut, the road outside wasn’t much of a problem, and breakfast was simple but fine. The family room, though, felt overdue for an update. The bedspread was flimsy, the carpet and mattress were worn, and there was a cobweb behind the toilet door. The toilet brushes were extremely dirty too. A refresh would make a real difference.
The food at the hotel restaurant was very good, even though the menu is limited, and this made a very good overnight stop on our holiday drive. Our quadruple room had plenty of space for two adults and two children and was reasonably clean. The carpet made me wonder about cleanliness, and the hotel has some wear from age, though it seems maintained. The decor is simple and a little dated. Breakfast is sweet and adequate. We also appreciated the pleasant welcome, the option of arriving late, and the good value for money. It’s a stop we’ll remember.
The bed was excellent and the room itself was clean, but the bathroom was filthy and moldy, and the shared areas looked very questionable for cleanliness. With the window open it was noisy, and there was no staff around until 9:15 that morning. We ended up having dinner and breakfast in Dole, which is a beautiful, well-restored town.
The room was dirty and the bed was broken. It’s right beside a very busy road, so it was extremely noisy, and there’s a high-voltage power line overhead. A disaster. I’d steer clear.
Friendly staff, tasty food, and good value. The rooms are plain but clean, and the shower gets nice and hot with a strong stream. Breakfast is pretty modest.
