Huttopia Oléron les Chênes Verts

We had a great time with the family. The team and the location were both wonderful, and we really like the Huttopia concept. The partnership with Island Surf School was a nice touch. Keep it up!

The tents are really well equipped, and there's a simple, quiet beach about 200m from the campsite entrance. It's a peaceful place with a real feel of nature, and the staff are very nice and attentive. Just be aware that 4G is limited in some parts of the campsite, so there's no excuse not to disconnect ;-)

We left after one night, although we'd booked three. On the first morning there was no toilet paper, so we moved. The pitches also felt too small and dusty to keep our sleeping area clean, and we were nearly hit by the electric carts speeding around.

Set among what feels like a forest, the campsite has a dreamy atmosphere, and the ocean is just a blink away. The couple who manage the place are awesome, always friendly and available, and clearly make sure everything runs smoothly. It absolutely deserves its 5* rating. I can't recommend it enough!
