Team Holiday - Domaine des Monts du Mâconnais

The beds were comfortable, the chalet was clean, and the owner was friendly. Our room cost 30 Euros for the two of us, sharing a chalet with other conference participants. There are around ten simple wooden chalets on site, each with three rooms, around a building used for conferences and meetings. It was a no-fuss, inexpensive stay. Just remember to bring your own linen, bathroom soap, and kitchen washing liquid.

The outdoor space is lovely, with a splendid view. Our chalet for five was spotless and practical, and everything worked. The large common room was perfect, and this year there was a really nice, huge marquee. Inside, the bed had an excellent mattress and a good pillow, and the shower got very hot.

We had such a great weekend with friends. The owners were welcoming, cheerful, always smiling, and easy to reach if we needed anything. Our chalet was spacious enough for six adults, comfortable, well equipped, clean, and kept in perfect condition, with a superb open view. We can't wait to come back with our children and show them the place. There's plenty for them to do, including the playgrounds, and the indoor pool is a real bonus when it's a bit chilly.

There are activities on site, and the service was excellent. This place works well for holiday rentals or group get-togethers, with plenty of sleeping space, a large enclosed room, and a good-sized marquee. The estate sits in a beautiful, peaceful, green spot in a small village with a good range of amenities.
