We left and spent our money elsewhere, so we never got to try the food. The waiter was hostile because we arrived 20 minutes before the kitchen opened, then got extremely offended when he realized we weren't French and didn't speak the language fluently. A more welcoming approach, or even asking if we'd like an aperitif while we waited, would have kept us there. Instead, we remember a complete jerk who shouldn't work in tourism. UPDATE: The proprietor's response could have convinced us to give the place a second chance if it hadn't been so obviously written by AI (see image). It reads like a canned attempt at damage control and gives no sign that the proprietor understands or appreciates the point of our review.
